Ifscape

Ifscape: a liquid glass camera for iPhone

Ifscape lets you place a glass-made object in front of the real world and capture both in one photo. The scenery stays visible through the glass, and the object stays present. What if it stood here?

How it works

  1. Point your iPhone at a scene, or import a photo from your library.
  2. Pick a glass object — a clock, a vinyl card, a color card, text, ink or a sticker.
  3. Drag, pinch and rotate it into place on the live view.
  4. Tap the shutter. One photo is saved with both the scene and the object.

Frequently asked questions

What is Ifscape?

Ifscape is a liquid glass camera app for iPhone. You put a glass-made object — such as a clock, a color card, a sticker or a line of text — in front of a live camera view or an imported photo, and capture the scenery and the object together in one photo. Its tagline is “What if it stood here?”

How do I put an object in front of a landscape photo with Ifscape?

Open Ifscape and point the camera at a scene (or import a photo from your library). Choose an object, then drag, pinch and rotate it into place on the live view. Tap the shutter: the scenery stays visible through the glass and the object is saved in a single photo.

Is Ifscape the same as Apple’s Liquid Glass in iOS 26?

No. Liquid Glass is the name of Apple’s translucent interface material in iOS 26. Ifscape puts refractive glass objects in the photo, not on the app’s buttons. It runs on iOS 17 or later, so it does not require iOS 26.

Is Ifscape an AR app?

No. Ifscape does not anchor 3D models to surfaces in your room. You compose a glass object over the live view or an imported photo with simple touch gestures, and the result is rendered into an ordinary photo when you tap the shutter.

What kinds of glass objects can I add?

Ifscape’s objects include a glass clock, a vinyl card of the song in the iOS Music app, a color card that summarizes the scene’s colors, text, ink flow, and stickers. Optional Plus features include Style glass, which restyles a photo inside a movable glass window, and calorie or vocabulary tags. New objects are added over time; see the App Store listing for the current list.

Is Ifscape free?

Ifscape is free to download from the App Store. Clock, vinyl, color card, text and ink can be captured without paying. Stickers, Style glass and recognition tags can be tried on the viewfinder; capturing them needs an Ifscape Plus subscription. Photos taken without Plus carry a small Ifscape wordmark, which Plus removes. Current prices are shown in the App Store.

Can I use a photo from my library instead of the live camera?

Yes. You can import a photo through the system photo picker and place objects over it the same way you would on the live view.

Does Ifscape upload my photos?

Basic capture and most glass objects are processed on your iPhone, and no Ifscape account is needed. A few optional features, such as Style glass and calorie or vocabulary recognition, send a processed copy of the image to Ifscape’s servers to return a result, and the app tells you before or when you first use them. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Which iPhones does Ifscape support?

Ifscape requires iOS 17 or later and is made for iPhone. Real camera capture needs a physical iPhone.

How is Ifscape different from other apps called “Liquid Glass Camera”?

The phrase “liquid glass camera” is used for several different kinds of apps. Some are manual camera apps that adopt the iOS 26 Liquid Glass interface, and some are wallpaper makers. Ifscape is different: it is a camera whose glass objects appear in your photo, so the scene behind remains visible and the object stays present.
